Rothwell Methodist Church is a caring community in the heart of this historic Northamptonshire town. Our chapel is set on the traditional market-place in the town centre, with free parking all year round.

Serving the community and offering the love of Christ is central to all we do. We have a good team of members and friends who work together joyfully and positively to bring a unique atmosphere of friendship and care. We're always glad to welcome and support new people, of all ages and backgrounds.

Our church has a dedicated team of pastoral visitors and stewards, experienced youth and community workers, as well as our minister, Andy Murphy, and lay chaplain, Clare Pickering.

Worship is central to all we do, and we enjoy a variety of styles on a Sunday morning at 10.30am, thanks to the local preachers and ministers who lead our worship week-by-week. Children and families are always welcome – we offer Junior Church for the children while the service is going on – and once a month we have a specifically All-Age service where adults and children can enjoy worshipping together. On the last Sunday of each month, we also have an afternoon 'Messy Church' at 4.00pm.

As a church, we offer a wide programme of groups and events through the week, including various fellowship groups, a knitting group, a craft group, our 'Friday Friendship and Fun' event (FFF), every Friday in term time, from 3.30 until 6.00pm, and our Baby & Toddler group on a Monday morning. Throughout the year, there are also lots of special events including coffee mornings, breakfasts and craft events.

Our premises are used by many other community groups too, including uniformed organisations, the Royal British Legion, and Slimmer's World.

We are good friends with the other churches in Rothwell too, taking an active part in Rothwell Churches Together, and are involved in many of the town events with good links to the town council.
