Good Soil – New Fortnightly Resources for Fellowship and Bible Study Groups

We are beginning on a 20-session journey through the Bible, focussing on the theme of Covenant. We'll be asking questions such as: What does it mean to be God's Covenant people? How can we align ourselves to God's purposes? And what has Jesus achieved for us in the New Covenant?

This series will continue throughout the year – generally fortnightly although sometimes less often due to holidays. It will (as we go on) fit in with some of the church seasons, however it is NOT linked directly to the lectionary. This means it can be used at any time and is a bit more flexible. You could even save it for another year, if your group so desires!

Junior Good Soil is specially designed to give the outline of a session for a half-hour (or more) children's group or Sunday School class, and a few ideas for activities, songs and discussion. The aim is to inspire, not to dictate. This does give a chance to explore some wide ranging stories throughout the Bible, and hopefully will give a sense of progression on the theme of Covenant.

All of our Good Soil resources are free to use and to copy, and so please distribute this as widely as you can around your churches, and especially to any Bible-studies or house groups (or Sunday Schools) you may have.

Older copies of Good Soil from previous series are available to download at Good Soil – Archive and Market Harborough Methodist Church – Good Soil.
